Nearly seven weeks after the students were fatally stabbed in a rental home in Moscow, Idaho, a 28-year-old suspect was arrested at his parents' home in Albrightsville, Pennsylvania.
Police received thousands of tips when they announced they were searching for a 2011 - 2013 white Hyundai Elantra that was near the students' home, according to Duffey.
According to Kohberger, agents look for patterns and special characteristics in suspects when working cases like this. His ties to Pennsylvania include studies at Northampton Community College and DeSales University and incidents at a local bar.
