DENVER - Sabrina Olsen spent her weekend taking inventory of what's left in her apartment after a possible electric fire sparked last week. There's not much left.

"Especially throughout COVID I was like, shelters need us. And so I started fostering early COVID and just sent my 1,052nd kitten to their forever home," said Olsen who has three pets of herself, two of which are special need animals. She was relieved to find out the firefighters were able to rescue all the kittens and her personal pets.

With that good community behind her and renters insurance, she's one of the lucky ones. She said she knows all too well how differently this situation could have turned out.
