Officer Chris Bardwell died Tuesday, according to the Cross Roads Police Department, where he had worked since September 2021. The department did not provide his age.
Bardwell served as a Grand Prairie patrol officer from 1992 until his retirement in 2014. He also served five years with the Celina Police Department. “We are heartbroken by the loss of Chris.
