Tom Hiddleston teases what's to come in Loki season 2 in a recently released Disney+ video, teasing both new and familiar faces, as well as mind-bending time-travel hijinks in new footage. Hiddleston first reprised his Marvel Cinematic Universe role in Loki season 1 in 2021, where he starred alongside franchise newcomers Sophia di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Jonathan Majors.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY New footage of the upcoming Loki season 2 was released in Disney+'s "Streaming in 2023" trailer, a video narrated by Hiddleston which teases Disney+'s 2023 release slate.
Alongside Hiddleston, Di Martino, Majors, Mosaku, and Wilson, Loki season 2 will see other memorable characters from season 1 return, including Mbatha-Raw's Judge Ravona Renslayer, Tara Strong's TVA mascot Miss Minutes, while Eugene Cordero has been promoted to a series regular following his appearances as Casey/Hunter K-5E in season 1.
Loki is undoubtedly one of Marvel Studios' most successful Disney+ projects, being one of the few Marvel Disney+ shows to be renewed for more seasons soon after season 1 wrapped. Not only did the show reintroduce Hiddleston's fan-favorite character in a surprising way after his death in Avengers: Infinity War, but it expanded the universe with its time-travel hijinks fun and shocking universe-altering revelations.
