Will Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man Ever Return After Spider-Man: No Way Home? Given the major success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, both critically and financially, one of the biggest questions in the MCU fandom that continues to go unanswered is whether or not Maguire will ever come back as the Marvel icon. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is showing that they are not afraid to not only engage with Sony's Spider-Man Universe, the MCU but also cross over between animation and live-action.
The biggest theory right now is that Avengers: Secret Wars will be where Maguire shows up next as his version of Spider-Man.
