The author of Shadow of the Batgirl returns with a new graphic novel starring Lois Lane. Girl Taking Over: A Lois Lane Story is DC's newest announced YA graphic novel; it is written by Sarah Kuhn. Just like the author's previous YA story for the comic company, it will center around an Asian American heroine.
What Fans Can Expect From This New Lois Lane Story 6 Images Close Can Lois Lane open herself up to friendship, romance, and being vulnerable in order to get the future that's right for her? She might have to change her entire life plan to find out. When Lois uncovers a potentially explosive scandal, she must team up with the last person she'd expect to publish her own website for young women. Regarding DC heroine Lois Lane, Sarah Kuhn says "I was always desperately searching for some tiny scrap of representation in the stories I loved and Lois had dark hair, so sometimes I'd fantasize that she was Asian American -- like me." She then elaborated on this new take on Lois:
