Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. is calling for a review of a “distorted” statement in a resolution adopted by the Inter-Agency Task Force concerning the 14-day quarantine for Filipinos stranded on COVID-19 free cruise ships. | CMarquezINQ
Locsin took to Twitter to explain his frustration over stranded Filipinos on eight cruise ships who could not return home due to the reduced statement which is causing confusion for the Bureau of Immigration .“There are 8 COVID-19 free cruise ships in Manila bay with Filipino crews. They were quarantined in the sea voyage.
I will bring up the distorted and truncated statement of the resolution adopted by the IATF unanimously regarding the Green Lane and the adoption of the sea voyage as compliance with the 14 day quanrantine. We have vessels rotting in Manila Bay because of that distortion.
