SAN ANTONIO – The North East Independent School District is going to create an early-college high school that will open next year.
NEISD is partnering with Alamo Colleges to allow students to graduate with up to 60 college credit hours and an associate degree that’s transferrable to a 4-year institution. The program will also offer students the chance to focus their studies on industries like teaching, accounting, and hospitality.
The early-college high school will be located at MacArthur High School and the NEISD will accept students through a lottery system.
