More affordable housing is coming to the beaches thanks to a local non-profit organization.
– Atlantic Beach resident Michelle Tomlinson said more affordable housing is needed.
“We bought our house five years ago, and I would call it affordable then, but now it is not affordable. I’m not sure what rent prices are but I know it is really hard to find places to rent,” Tomlinson said.. It’s a nearly $600-dollar jump since 2021 – less than five years ago.
