October is breast cancer awareness month. Infirmary Health helps women prevent, fight and beat breast cancer. NBC 15's Kelly Foster introduces us to a Mobile woman who was treated at the Breast Center at Infirmary Cancer Care this past year.
Patricia doesn't live far from Infirmary Health in Mobile, so she went to the Breast Center. Her mammogram revealed a lump which turned out to be cancer. "She was my go-to person. I liked the personal touch with that not always having to go straight to the doctor that I could go right to this one nurse, and she could be my advocate to the doctor," says Alexander.
