The marathon, which saw teams going head-to-head on the field, playing eight-minute a side matches with a three-minute change-over was in aid of four charity institutions and raised over R50 000. “We identified Wollies Animal Shelter, Wet Nose Animal Rescue, Teddy Bear Foundations and Door of Hope, as the beneficiaries of the event.”Members of the FutureSoft Superhero Red and Blue teams.Representing the Progress Ladies Team are Cecilia Ralefeta and Lebo Mabena.To ensure good sportsmanship Benoni Action Sport and its referees volunteered their time to the cause.
