Nga Kor Ming: Local Government Devt Ministry to implement seven immediate actions within 100 days
PUTRAJAYA, Jan 13 — The Ministry of Local Government Development will implement seven immediate actions within 100 days for the benefit of the people, its minister Nga Kor Ming said.
“A total of 4,713 housing units will be handed over to the people under the People’s Housing Programme involving Kuah and Ulu Melaka PPR in Langkawi, Kedah; Rumah Mesra Rakyat 2022 programme in phases and handover of sick projects that were successfully completed in Ipoh, Perak and Kota Tinggi, Johor,” he said.
Within the 100 days too, KPKT through the Local Government Department will upgrade the Tok Kenali Market at Jalan Binjai, Kelantan and the Pasir Pinji Market in Ipoh, Perak and 100 business kiosks will be provided. Nga said KPKT through the Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corporation is also committed to efforts in closing down 100 illegal landfills and in empowering recycling initiatives.
