The City of Mobile may have said goodbye to Carnival’s Ecstacy with a big sendoff last Monday. The ship returned and left the Port City for the last time Saturday as it’s set to be retired from the fleet.

The DiPaolos love cruising. This was their fourth cruise on the Ecstacy. They tell me her last voyage was nothing short of amazing. They tell us the energy onboard was magical as passengers raised more than $40,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.For the DiPaolo’s the trip was money well spent -- for an experience they’ll never forget. It comes a month after the Ecstacy helped them celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary.
