The tweet – was a reply to another Twitter user complaining about a common upselling tactic used by coffee shop employees, where the former barista said that heUnsurprisingly, his tweet got netizens angry, with many criticising him for his rude remark.As the upselling tactic is a common practice in the restaurant industry, most criticism was towards him calling customers stupid, like one commenter who questioned if such name-calling is part of his company’s values.
