EUCLID, Ohio - A local artist paid tribute to fallen Euclid officer Jacob Derbin . His funeral was just a week ago.
A portrait Derbin was gifted by Youngstown artist Ron Moore. It is lifting the Euclid Police Department’s spirits. The 23-year-old, tragically killed responding to a domestic violence call on may 11th. A memorial remains outside the Euclid “You really can honor his memory our by simply just being nice to each other. Being kind to each other. To strangers and yourself,” said Chief Scott Meyer.“When I saw this on the news the very first thing I did was, I cried. I have a son in law enforcement and my thought is what if one of my kids didn’t come home,” said Moore.
