LNP Leader David Crisafulli has been confronted by a Sunshine Coast local at a food bank in Nambour over the economy and the housing crisis.

'I will hold you to that': LNP leader David Crisafulli confronted in food bank in Nambour by fed-up Sunshine Coast local

The LNP member for Nicklin Marty Hunt flanked Mr Crisafulli when the Nambour local approached the state Opposition Leader to air his grievances. “You know what, I will hold you to that, I hope you get in so in a year’s time I can ring you and say, ‘have things changed yet?’ and they won’t have,” the local said.Premier Miles was also campaigning on Monday, and fronted a press conference earlier on Monday to back his Labor lunch pledge, arguing the initiative would help alleviate the stresses of parents in the morning to provide free nutritious meals for students, if re-elected.

Mr Miles announced the policy on Sunday, pitching it as a major cost-of-living measure which could save parents $1,600 per child each year.
