The 65th annual Grammy Awards will feature a star-studded lineup of performers, including Lizzo, who leads the nominations. The ceremony will also include a tribute to Quincy Jones and support for wildfire victims.

The 65th annual Grammy Awards , taking place in Los Angeles on February 5th, promise to be a night of musical celebration and remembrance. The star-studded event will feature a diverse lineup of performers, including Lizzo, who is nominated for a multitude of awards for her latest album, *Special*, released last April.

She's nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for the LP, as well as Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Music Video for “Fortnight,” featuring Post Malone. She’s also nominated alongside Gracie Abrams for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Us.” In previous years, the pop singer has won 14 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year a record four times. The Grammy Awards ceremony, hosted by Trevor Noah, will also showcase performances by Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, and Shakira. Joining them will be most of the Best New Artist nominees: Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Raye, Benson Boone, and Teddy Swims. A poignant highlight of the evening will be an in-memoriam tribute to legendary producer Quincy Jones, who passed away last year. The tribute will feature a stellar lineup including Cynthia Erivo, Herbie Hancock, Lainey Wilson, and other artists yet to be announced. The tribute to Jones has been months in the making, executive producer Raj Kapoor told The Hollywood Reporter. The ceremony is happening in the wake of ongoing, devastating wildfires raging across Southern California. Earlier this month, the Recording Academy confirmed that the ceremony would go on as planned but now be “reimagined.” Grammy Week events will also be repurposed to further support the thousands of people who lost everything in the fires, as well as the families of the casualties.
