'One World: Together At Home' aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19 🙌
concert. Hosted by comedians Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert, this multi-hour digital broadcast aims to raise money for its COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund and celebrate health care workers fighting on the front lines.
"As we honor and support the heroic efforts of community health workers, "One World: Together At Home" aims to serve as a source of unity and encouragement in the global fight to end COVID-19," cofounder and CEO of Global Citizen, Hugh Evans wrote in a statement emailed to. "Through music, entertainment, and impact, the global live-cast will celebrate those who risk their own health to safeguard everyone else's.
The fund, which has already raised $30 million, is powered by supporters and corporate partners of WHO and Global Citizen. The money will help local and regional charities that provide food, shelter, and health care to everyone affected by COVID-19.
