Liz Truss to announce tax-slashing Budget even if Parliament not sitting
Parliamentary sources confirmed MPs will not be expected to sit at least until after September 21st.
Parliament may only stay open for a couple of days before politicians go off again for their party conferences.Cabinet ministers had pledged to hold the mini-budget before the end of the month. Treasury sources said they were working behind the scenes to ensure the plans were ready to go when given the go ahead by No10.
