Seventeen people in South Africa have been infected with the virus.
JOHANNESBURG - Government officials will on Thursday deliver the latest updates and developments relating to the coronavirus outbreak in South Africa as well as the repatriation process.
The repatriation team and the repatriated South Africans, are expected back in the country on Friday with quarantine expected to take place in Limpopo.The flight crew and 122 repatriates will be quarantined for a minimum of 14 days up to 21 days. The SA team on its way to Wuhan will only have eight hours on the ground to evacuate the South Africans wanting to return home.
The eight-hour window will mean that the team will have to work quickly to ensure that everyone is on board.
