Liverpool are weighing up whether to make a move for Juventus and Italy forward Federico Chiesa
Liverpool have asked about the availability of Italy international forward Federico Chiesa of Juventus. Chiesa is in the final year of his contract at the Serie A side and is understood to be available for around £13million. The player, who is 27 in October, has fallen out of favour under new Juventus head coach Thiago Motta and failed to make the squad for the team's first two league games of the season.
It is understood Chiesa is one of several players the Reds are tracking as they consider whether to strengthen their squad ahead of Friday's transfer deadline. Any arrival would be to bolster the current senior forward options and not replace an existing one.
