🧨 '𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻.' 🧨 🔴 | Frank McAvennie has backed Roberto Firmino to leave Liverpool at the end of the season. 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘:: LFC
The Brazil international is in the final year of his contract at Anfield and has shown no signs of a potential renewal.
Liverpool looked to youth in the main window – completing the additions of 23-year-old Nunez and 20-year-old Fabio Carvalho – while 19-year-old Harvey Elliott has also taken on an increased role this term. McAvennie insisted Jurgen Klopp’s side are still missing the presence of departed talisman Sadio Mane – who joined Bayern Munich in the summer window. When asked if Firmino could be in his last season as a Liverpool player, he told“Diaz, Nunez – I think they looked good last night. Nunez was good against Ajax, even if he was perhaps trying too hard.“Never mind Firmino – they’ve not got to grips with Mane leaving yet. I think Salah won’t say it, but he misses him.
