I am absolutely dreadful at keeping my New Year's resolutions. Now you may be thinking this makes me a wholly inappropriate candidate to be writing the first of these daily messages aimed at supporting you in sticking to yours. But I would argue the opposite.
Because let's face it, many of us have woken up shrunken with guilt this morning, provoked by a lack of sleep, a week of indulgence and choosing the Motherhood festive special over a brisk mince pie-busting walk around Sefton Park. Perhaps your guilt is fixating on that conversation you had in the pub just after midnight that you can't quite remember but are fairly sure you said something embarrassing.
