Liverpool do not have long left to complete their transfer business before the summer window closes. The Reds are yet to make their first signing of the Arne Slot era which has seen some cause for concern among sections of supporters. It seems that Martin Zubimendi would be Liverpool's first summer signing, but the midfielder decided to remain at Real Sociedad instead. Now there remains uncertainty over what business, if any, the Reds will conduct before the window closes on August 30.
According to TBR Football , the Reds are weighing up whether or not to submit a bid to sign the former Everton star. The report claims that several clubs, including Manchester City and Arsenal, are set to compete with Liverpool to sign Lookman this summer. It has also been stated that the winger is wanted by Paris Saint-Germain. Lookman joined Atalanta from RB Leipzig in 2022, just a year after completing a £22.5million switch away from Everton to move to Germany.
