Arne Slot will be eager to bolster his new squad this summer after replacing Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager
Liverpool could make a move for winger Yankuba Minteh this summer. The 19-year-old winger has been heavily linked with an exit from Newcastle United following his impressive performances while on loan at Feyenoord.
According to The Telegraph, Newcastle United are 'reluctantly considering offers' worth £40million for the teenage sensation. Speaking to Dutch publication Rondo in March, the former Feyenoord boss provided an update on the winger's future. Slot was impressed with the player's pace, saying: "If you are that fast, it is a huge weapon. Then, in an interview with Voetbal International in May, Minteh admitted he didn't know what the future holds for him this summer. As quoted by the Chronicle Live, he said: "At the moment, I don’t know what will happen. How the supporters treat me is very special, but I don’t know at the moment whether I will leave or stay. We’ll see what the future brings."
