Buoyed by the opening goal, Palace pushed for another as they went in search of their second WSL win, but Matt Beard's side drew level 23 minutes later through Cornelia Kapocs. Stengel was gifted a chance to put her side back in front just before half-time when Mille Gejl hooked a clever ball over the top, but the off-balanced 32-year-old could not divert her effort on target.
