“It’s been the honour of my lifetime to serve as your president,” Joe Biden says before telling the crowd they need to work to make sure Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are elected. “Folks, I’ve got five months left in my presidency. I’ve got a lot to do ... I intend to get it done,” Biden said. “I love the job. I love my country more. And all this talk about how I’m angry with all those people who said I should step down – it’s not true.” After these comments, the crowd chanted “We love Joe” again.
He is promising a bloodbath if he loses, in his words. That he will be a dictator on day one, in his own words … We cannot let that happen.” Biden ended his speech by reflecting on the start of his career and giving a premature farewell to the crowd. He admitted he made a lot of mistakes in his 50-year career. “I gave my heart and soul to my nation and I’ve been blessed a million times in return with the support of the American people,” he said.
