A flash flood emergency continues for counties across central Texas after flooding in Kerr County claimed the lives of 24 people, with dozens still missing.

The National Weather Service says the flash flood warning will continue for Marble Falls, Burnet and Granite Shoals until noon Saturday.The Williamson County Office of Emergency Management says that residents of mobile home parks along the San Gabriel River east of Georgetown are advised to evacuate, including those in Riverside, Shady River and Goodwater.

The City of Georgetown also says that San Gabriel and Blue Hole parks are closed due to flooding in the San Gabriel River. They advise residents to stay away from the area.The National Weather Services says that dangerous and life-threatening flooding continues in Burnet, western Williamson and northwestern Travis Counties. They also say that other roads have water on them, and some spots are becoming impassable. Spicewood Fire Rescue said that multiple roads are closed in Burnet County, and that multiple water rescues are in progress.They also said that all 10 floodgates are now open on the Starcke Dam, and that residents and drivers should expect higher and faster than normal flows on the Colorado River. The Lower Colorado River Authority says that floodgates have been open at multiple dams overnight to release storm runoff. The LCRA says they do not anticipate opening Mansfield Dam, which forms Lake Travis and would spill into Lake Austin.
