At least 5 people were injured in shootings at Michigan State University, officials said, and the gunman is still on the loose
With the suspect of Monday night’s shootings at Michigan State University still at large, Chris Rozman, interim deputy chief at the MSU Department of Police and Public Safety, stressed: “Please do not come to campus, I can’t say that enough.”
Speaking at a briefing late Monday, Rozman acknowledged the stress faced by those with children at the university."For parents, we understand. I can only imagine the emotion that’s involved right now,” he said. He emphasized that having fewer people on campus would help police identify the shooter more quickly. “Please do not come to campus,” he repeated. “We are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our campus and all of our students.”
