A police investigation has been launched after a man was found dead in a farmer's field in Lancashire.
Pictures from the scene in Pinfold Lane, Scarisbrick - which lies between Ormskirk and Southport - show a large scale response from police an ambulance.It is understood that an air ambulance landed in a nearby field just off Fold Lane at around 4.30pm last night. One local on social media said: "Something serious happened, what's with the air ambulance near Pinfold Lane."
