Freeze opens his presser in saying he’s excited for his second fall camp at Auburn and that he likes what he’s seen from the strength and conditioning aspect, as well as the culture improvements.On what it takes for a freshman receiver to be an early contributor: Freeze says he’s gotta have the skillset. “It’s impossible to do that without the skillset,” Freeze said. He adds the mindset of not taking plays off and having a high football IQ is also important.
On recent recruiting success and what goes on behind the scenes: “There’s so many that play bigger roles than I do,” Freeze says, mentioning staffers like Bianca Webb and Will Redmond. “Sitting here today, the plan of what we wanted to accomplish with the ‘25 class is on track.” “I’m very, very pleased with the progress that’s been made since January,” Freeze says, crediting Auburn’s culture council.
