Two live streamers crashed their Mercedes-Benz vehicles while engaging in dangerous driving behavior known as 'cutting up' traffic, which involves weaving between vehicles at high speeds. Both incidents were captured on live streams and shared online, raising concerns about the safety of this trend.
These live streamers were driving Mercedes-Benz models when they rear-ended innocent motorists. It's unclear if anyone was injured in either of the two devastating crashes caught on film. Several online personalities run social media channels dedicated to their dangerous driving antics. One of the most dangerous social media trends to emerge over the past couple of years encourages drivers to ‘cut up’ traffic, weaving along freeways at highways and squeezing between cars at high speeds.
It’s a recipe for disaster and when driving as stupidly as this, things can go very wrong, very quickly. The latest shock factor comes from two separate crashes in the U.S., both involving drivers who decided it was a good idea to ‘cut up’ traffic, all while livestreaming. Both incidents feature Mercedes-Benz models, and of course, both occurred while the drivers were broadcasting their reckless antics in real-time. If you've ever wondered why insurance premiums for young drivers are sky-high, here’s your answer in full, cringeworthy detail. In the first clip shared on Reddit, the driver of a Mercedes-Benz C-Class can be seen speeding along a freeway with another car up ahead. Shortly after the other sedan narrowly squeezed between two vehicles, the streamer attempted to do the same. However, he clipped what appeared to be a white Toyota RAV4. While the footage doesn’t show what happened next, at least two further impacts can be heard, and an occupant starts screaming – likely out of shock. Reddit The second incident is straight out of the hold my phone category. In this clip, taken from a live stream on Instagram, the driver of a Mercedes can be seen hitting over 120 mph (193 km/h) with just one hand on the wheel and another grasping onto a phone. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they swerve through traffic, only to face two cars blocking their way. Undeterred, the driver tries to squeeze through the tiny gap like it's a game of Frogger—and predictably, fails spectacularly. He crashes into both cars, drops the phone in the process, and with that, the livestream ends in a spectacular mess. It's unclear if any innocent motorists were injured in these crashes. Last year, popular streamer N3ON jumped into the passenger seat of one of these street racers driving a Lamborghini Urus. The driving on display in that case was equally as dangerous as these two videos, and, unsurprisingly, it also resulted in a collision. Reddi
