There is a 20% chance of the development of a cyclone.Overall, high pressure along the Gulf states will help steer winds from the northwest as a line of low pressure moves into the area, causing heavy rain and flash flooding by Monday into Tuesday. Rain and storms remain in the forecast for the next seven days, with most storms peaking in the afternoon, which is typical for the summer.
