Emergency services have descended on an estate in Bury this afternoon following the discovery of a 'suspected grenade'.

An 100m cordon is in place to ensure the 'safety' of the community, while Explosive Ordinance Disposal experts work to make the area safe.In a statement, Greater Manchester Police said: "We are currently responding to an incident on Rivington Drive in Bury where a suspected grenade has been found.
