Jesus Polendo, 55, was arrested May 5 on charges of indecent assault and prohibited sexual conduct/incest. His combined bail for both charges was set at $45,000, and he has been released from jail.On April 3, the woman told police that the alleged assaults had been occurring since she was 15, according to an affidavit supporting Polendo’s arrest. She described incidents in which she said he touched her inappropriately before the severity escalated.
She said that Polendo forced her to have oral sex, saying that he wouldn’t leave her alone and that she feared for her safety because Polendo had mentioned how he assaulted his ex-wife, according to the affidavit. He also told her that he would stop taking care of the family financially if she didn’t comply.
The woman told police that the most recent incident occurred in March, saying that Polendo threatened to cut her off financially because “he was not going to support women that were not going to have sex with him,” the affidavit said. He threatened to take her phone until the woman complied.‘Family friend’ who sexually assaulted 5-year-old at San Antonio motel gets 99 years in prison
The woman said she feared Polendo taking her phone because she had been using it to compile evidence of sexual assaults, which she didn’t want him to find, the arrest affidavit said. The evidence included texts that said it was her “responsibility to keep everyone happy” and that Polendo wanted her to be comfortable with him touching her.
