Traffic is stopped
Traffic monitoring site Inrix says this is due to an accident. One lane remains closed as recovery work takes place.
Inrix says: "Queueing traffic for three miles and one lane closed due to accident on M1 Southbound between J27 A608 Mansfield Road and J26 A610 . Congestion to J28 . Travel time is 20 minutes. "Lane one is now closed to allow recovery to take place. At around 14:50 all traffic was held for around 30 minutes."
