They also want to call acting Public Protector Kholeka Gcaleka.Mpofu says Mkhwebane's team has asked for assistance in subpoenaing witnesses who may be unwilling to appear before the committee voluntarily. He says they have sent letters to Minister Pravin Gordhan, DA MP Natasha Mazzone and former Public Protector Thuli Madonsela to ask them to testify.

Madonsela has previously told News24 that she would appear before the committee, if subpoenaed to do so.Mpofu wants the committee to help obtain Pravin Gordhan, Thuli Madonsela and Natasha Mazzone as witnesses. Gordhan sent them an attorney's letter that he will indicate this week what his attitude is."The others have not even bothered to respond," says Mpofu.

He says he has previously been given two hours to make a presentation to the committee. He claims that Dyantyi has not been consistent in allotting time for applications.Dyantyi says he is given an hour to make his presentation."We do have a standard in Parliament," Dyantyi says. He says a standard time is given for presentations.Mpofu always insists on more time. He did the same in the Constitutional Court last week.
