The Met Office has upgraded its weather warning for rain in Lancashire and it is expected to last 24 hours
Torrential rain is battering Lancashire this morning with a 'danger to life' weather warning set to come into force at midday.
The Met Office says there is a good chance of flooded roads, delays in public transport due to difficult driving conditions and power cuts in the region. Many places could see 30-40mm of rain, while a few areas may receive 60-80mm as heavy rain moves northwards throughout Wednesday.
