Demons got the jump, kicking the first three and rocking the Blues onto the back foot in the early stages. But Carlton settled and responded through Tom De Koning, and some pretty sharp ball movement to get it up there. There are positive signs for both teams, with defences largely holding up and the midfield battle tight. More of the same will do nicely from here.
