"Gaza's main cancer hospital ran out of fuel and was forced to stop its services, risking the lives of 70 cancer patients," said the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs. The officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said the US was flying intelligence gathering drones over Gaza to assist with hostage location efforts. One of the officials said they had been carrying out the drone flights for over a week.
Two Palestinians were shot dead during an Israeli raid in El-Bireh near the city of Ramallah, while a third was killed in the northern town of Qalqilya, the Palestinian ministry said. In the report, Guterres said Israeli forces have escalated the use of deadly force in recent years across the occupied West Bank, while attacks by Palestinians also rose.
