Live a Live, a 1994 RPG from the director of Chrono Trigger, gets its first US release with a new remake later this month. Based on the demo, we can see why it never came out in the States.
The first RPG I ever played was an Android port of a Final Fantasy game I can’t remember the name of. I played it almost entirely on a road trip to Washington state when I was 13; when the trip was done, I never touched it again.
The remake is the game’s first ever release outside Japan and is also an HD-2D remake, a style made popular by 2018’s. The demo, which was released last week after Tuesday’s Nintendo Direct, contains the first part of three of the seven chapters, which can be played in any order and swapped between at any time.
