This announcement comes during a Winter Weather Advisory in place for the majority of the Salt Lake Valley, with an emphasis on the Wasatch Mountain range. The advisory will be lifted at midnight on Monday. The Cottonwoods are expected to accumulate up to 18 inches of snow through Monday evening. UDOT issued road-weather advisories for several upper-elevation Utah routes Sunday morning, predicting travel concerns for both State Route 190 and State Route 210 along with several other highways.
