The local Italian ice and ice cream business said in a Facebook post that they received a note sometime after closing calling them terrorists. The business posted on Facebook saying it was “A sign of weakness, cowardness, and egregiousness” and that they are “choosing love every single day.”Pele Irganglade, Lancaster County resident said, “It’s horrifying, it’s wrong. As a Jewish person, I know what it’s like to have swastikas or hate speech drawn on Jewish businesses, Jewish communities.
Another community member, Suad Sadek, added, “There is a certain level of hatred that you have to have for an entire group of people to go out of your way to attack someone who locally lives here.” Lititz Police said they are aware of the incident as of Tuesday evening and have opened an investigation. They say their patrol supervisors are aware of the situation for when units do their regular patrols in the area.
