Much of the clip focuses on Piper as she tries to adjust to life outside of prison. The trailer finds her dealing with the mundane day-to-day of office life and questionable comments about her ex-con status , all while her partner Alex remains locked up.

The trailer also teases the goings-on inside the maximum security prison: Taystee grapples with the life sentence she received after being wrongfully convicted of killing a corrections officer during a prison riot, while Gloria and her kitchen staff uncover PolyCon Corrections’ unnerving new profit stream. Despite all the heavy material, the clip does offer some moments of humor, like when Suzanne considers the things she really wants in life: “Ice cream,” she says, before adding, “and justice.
