Lita Ford guitarist Patrick Kennison has San Antonio in his blood. A MacArthur High School graduate who was born at Wilford Hall, Kennison grew up collecting albums by Judas Priest and Motley Crue and listening to 99.5 KISS-FM.

“I remember having my portable cassette player and recording Accept’s ‘Fast as a Shark’ from the radio on the Joe Anthony hour and playing that tape until it wouldn’t play anymore,” he said on the phone from Los Angeles. The Union Underground ultimately sold 500,000 copies of the album “An Education in Rebellion” and toured with Marilyn Manson and Ozzfest 2001 before breaking up.
