CLEVELAND, Ohio – Heavy rain flooded parts of Northeast Ohio overnight causing severe damage. Some major events across the area have been canceled or closed.Cleveland Metroparks Zoo was temporarily closed Thursday. In addition, the Asian Lantern Festival is canceled Thursday and Friday. Ticket holders will be contacted by the Zoo’s guest services team to reschedule or receive a refund. Tickets are available for Saturday.
