As much of SE Houston remains under flash flooding, many surrounding areas are reporting high-water roadways for drivers to avoid. Turn around. Don't drown.

Much of SE Houston is under a flash flood warning Friday, officials have already started seeing high-water locations and are encouraging drivers to avoid them.

League City police officers, for example, currently have Westover Park Ave closed from W Main St to Carlisle Ln due to high water. Unless absolutely necessary, officials are asking people to stay off the roadways. If they need to be on the road, THEN be mindful of driving in high water.
