As the coronavirus infects millions worldwide, North Korea, Turkmenistan, and several countries in Oceania have yet to confirm their first case.
Within months after the novel coronavirus emerged from its ground zero at Wuhan, China in December 2019, the world recorded one million cases across almost 200 countries and territories in the beginning of April.
Tens of thousands of more cases are still reported daily across the world, with no sign of an end to the pandemic. As of posting, the United States led with the most coronavirus cases at 4.8 million cases as of Friday, August 7. Brazil and India followed with more than a million cases. However, a handful of countries have yet to report a single case. There are also some that have kept their reported numbers at a minimum.Countries with few reported cases
In Southeast Asia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Brunei, and Laos have the least reported coronavirus cases at 357, 243, 141, and 20 respectively.
