The Lisa Frankenstein Blu-ray release date has been revealed for the Zelda Williams and Diablo Cody horror comedy.
ComingSoon’s Jonathan Sim reviewed the film and wrote, ”Lisa Frankenstein was not the biting bit of horror comedy I hoped for. The film may go too far for some, yet not far enough for others. By the time it ended, it did not leave enough of an impression on me to want to rewatch it or recommend it to anyone.”
“The film is about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse,” reads the synopsis. “After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.”from a script written by Oscar winner Diablo Cody. Joining Sprouse and Newton are Carla Gugino , Liza Soberano , Joe Chrest , and Henry Eikenberry .
