Detroit Lions star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown made an insane deal with his teammate, Jahmyr Gibbs.
It was a bit of a surprise when the Detroit Lions selected running back Jahmyr Gibbs with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.Even Gibbs, himself, was shocked on the day of the draft.'It was pretty shocking to me,' Gibbs said last April. 'I didn't know I would get picked as high as I did because running backs don't get picked as high in this new age and new era of the NFL draft.
Gibbs started three games in Montgomery's absence and overall had 182 rushes for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns, to go along with 52 receptions for 316 yards and a receiving touchdown.Gibbs and Montgomery became arguably the best backfield duo in the entire league, and this year, they're expected to be just as dominant. While Gibbs and Montgomery will continue splitting time this year, Lions star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has given a challenge to the team's sophomore back.
